General Auction Terms & Conditions

Preview for Regularly Scheduled Friday Auctions Starts at 1pm - Auctions Start at 6pm.

A 12% buyer's premium is in affect on ALL purchases with a 2% discount for CASH or LOCAL Checks.

ALL items are sold "AS-IS, WHERE IS".  Bidders are responsible for preview and knowing the condition of items they are bidding on. Auction company assumes no liability for any guarantee made by others.

All purchases must be paid in full on day of sale. Purchaser assumes responsibility for all items when sold - paid for or not.

In case of a disputed bid the Auctioneer will decide the dispute. He may open the bidding between disputing parties or re-sell the item at his discretion.

Statements made during the auction take precedence over any previously written material either in print or online including this website.

Purchaser MUST take all items purchased. Abandoned property becomes property of Westsound Auction and Estate Services, Inc.  Auctioneer reserves the right to bill any purchaser that leaves items behind for the cost of removal/disposal.

Large Items may be picked up between 9am and noon on Saturday following the auction. These hours may vary depending on auction schedule.

Completed Bidder Registration and bidding activity constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Firearms Terms & Conditions

All firearms are sold AS IS, without warranty either written or implied. Please preview and inspect firearms prior to bidding.

All Federal, State and Local Firearms Laws will be adhered to including background checks. If you purchase a firearm and cannot clear the background check, Westsound Auction may charge you a $50 Restocking Fee and at a minimum keep the Buyers Premium and Transfer Fee to cover required paperwork.

Local Transfer: $25 per firearm for processing state and federal forms. Local purchasers are required to fill out the ATF4473 (and WA FIR-652-001 for hand guns) as well as ATF multiple firearms form as applicable by law. All transfers are to take place at the following office address on the Saturday  after the auction or by scheduled appointment after that.

Saturday office hours are 12:00pm to 7:00pm.

All local hand gun transfers are required to adhere to a five (5) day waiting period that starts on the day the forms are filled out and mailed to the local LEO unless the purchaser has, on their person, a valid state Concealed Pistol License.

Active duty military who do not have a valid Washington Drivers License are required to present a valid military ID and a copy of their current orders along with their state drivers license.

Purchasers with a valid WA CPL are encouraged to bring this as it speeds up the transfer process by negating the requirement to call NICS to complete the background check.

Any firearm not picked up within 30 days will be charged a $25 per month Storage Fee.
